About PQConf

Why Post-Quantum Matters Now

The US government has set 2030 as the deadline for federal agencies to complete migration to post-quantum. NIST finalized the first PQC standards in 2024. The clock is running — and adversaries aren't waiting.

"Harvest Now, Decrypt Later"

Nation-state actors are already collecting encrypted data today with the intent to decrypt it once a capable quantum computer exists. Sensitive data with a long shelf life — health records, financial data, state secrets — is already at risk.

The 2030 Federal Mandate

NIST finalized FIPS 203, 204, and 205 in August 2024 — the world's first post-quantum standards. The White House has directed all federal agencies to complete PQC migration by 2030. Private sector compliance expectations will follow.

Migration Takes Years

Cryptographic infrastructure is deeply embedded across every system. Organizations that haven't started inventory and planning are already behind. PQConf exists to accelerate the knowledge-sharing that makes migration possible before the deadline hits.

Speak at PQConf

Call for Speakers

We are actively seeking researchers, engineers, and industry leaders working at the frontier of post-quantum. Talks, panels, and workshop sessions are available.

Conference Format

PQConf 2027 runs over two days at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. The program features keynotes (60 min), research and industry talks (40 min + Q&A), moderated panels, and hands-on workshops. All sessions are single-track — every speaker gets a full-room audience.

Speaker Benefits
